Rainbow Brite: Concept Art

The first seven sheets are original Rainbow Brite costume design concept sheets. Drawn in marker and colored pencil by Charlie Terst, these sheets were made for the Western Publishing Company of Racine, Wisconsin. This company printed for a lot of famous groups, including Little Golden Books and Disney.
These designs were originally part of a larger lot, which was sold by The House in the Woods Auction Gallery, Inc., of Eagle, Wisconsin on June 2, 2007. I acquired seven of the twelve original sheets on eBay in January 2008.
These designs were the basis for the Rainbow Brite Paper Dolls
